Presenting Music Project Plan.
1. Pick 2 to 4 pieces of music that you are currently rehearsing or have worked on recently in your performance ensemble class. The pieces you select must fit into at least 2 of the Areas of Inquiry listed above. You must select pieces with a combined performance time of 12 minutes. Write down the titles, composers, arrangers (if any), and total performance length time for each piece that you select. Also, please indicate if your chosen ensemble pieces have already been recorded in front of a live audience, or will be recorded in March. All pieces selected must be recorded by the end of March, because all recording must be submitted to IB by April!

2. Identify measures of music within each piece that you select that best represent your contribution to the ensemble on your instrument. You must record these sections solo to demonstrate your role within the ensemble. Your total solo recording time must be 2 minutes. You must record sections from each of the pieces that you selected in part 1 of this assignment. Write down the pieces and exact measure numbers that you will record for your excerpts demonstrating your role in your ensemble.

27-53
3. Identify which Areas of Inquiry are not represented in your ensemble recordings. Write a proposal of a type of musical creation that you can make for each Area of Inquiry that is not represented in your ensemble recordings. Your creation recording time must be 6 minutes in length. Here are some examples of works that you could create:
-a blues improvisation.
-a jazz standard improvisation.
-electronic dance music.
-a piece written to accompany a choreographed dance, film, or a musical production.
Areas of Inquiry 3 and 4 are not included, I can create a song inspired by the film Beauty and the Beast that incorporates electronic elements and instruments.
